We were approached by Ombersley Village to review and upgrade their existing play area, utilising existing items providing replacements and additions to create a cost effective and inclusive playground for the younger residents of the village.
After the initial site survey an outine plan was put forward for discussion and the project details finalised.
The project took place in stages as the finances became available, new items included a large climbing frame, adventure trail items and a communal nest swing. Amongst the smaller items a climb on tractor and replacement springer were also installed. The final item to be installed was an inclusive roundabout. We also added new surfacing around different items.
The project took approximately two years to be completed from initial enquiry, fundraising and installation.
At the end of 2023 we were asked to revamp the playground and add more rubber bark in certain areas.
